There will be people on the roads this weekend with the end of the school holidays in zone B and the May 1st bridge. The national traffic information center anticipates the holidays taken by Ile-de-France residents next week.
The difficulties will be concentrated on the toll gates, particularly the A6 and A10 motorways, but also on the ring road, and on the A86 and A6B motorways. To make matters worse, the A6B is closed since Friday morning in both directions between Haÿ-les-Roses and PorteItalie due to the fire of a bus in the Bicêtre tunnel.
Orange Saturday throughout France
Saturday, in the direction of departures, the day is classified orange at the national level, with traffic jams anticipated on the A7 motorways in the South-East, the A36 in the Grand-Est region, the A13 in Normandy and the A11 in the Pays-de-la-Loire. As for Île-de-France, it is again the A6 and A10 motorways which will be particularly monitored. Sunday is classified as green everywhere, both in terms of departures and returns.
Tuesday classified red nationally
Major traffic difficulties are especially expected on Tuesday May 7, the day before the Ascension Bridge begins. The whole of France is classified red by Bison Futé in the direction of departures.
Wednesday May 8, the roads will also be busy throughout France with a day classified orange in the direction of departures. Returns will begin on Saturday May 11, again with a day classified orange. The most complicated day will be Sunday May 12 with the northwest quarter of the country classified black and the rest in red in the direction of returns.
