Murder of Matisse in Châteauro: a former magistrate target of “hateful and threatening remarks”

“Hateful and threatening comments”… For several days, a former magistrate of the Châteauroux judicial court has been the target of violent remarks “both on the internet and on social networks” following the murder of Matisse Marchais in Châteauroux. The magistrate insulted “unfairly delivered to the general public”

Following the insults uttered against him, two magistrates took up his defense. They deplore that the name of “this colleague” either “unfairly delivered to the general public” while “never intervened, in any capacity whatsoever, in the civil or criminal proceedings concerning the young Rahman M.”.

They add : “We can only be indignant at the fact (…) of violently criticizing the legitimate action of magistrates who, in strict compliance with the texts and international commitments of France, do not consider the incarceration of a young minor perpetrator of offenses – whatever their origin – only with the legitimate prudence that everyone has the right to expect”.
