Cholet. The modern arts workshop offers its spring exhibition until May 7

“Spring vacation” does not rhyme with idleness at the Atelier des Arts Modernes. Arno Bigot created this spring exhibition to present a year’s artistic work. The only instructions for exhibiting: having received at least one award! The local artist has already received around ten awards, including the Taiyo Bijustsu Kyokai Prize in Paris. This new meeting is therefore an opportunity to highlight the paintings that will be offered in the various upcoming competitions in France. The Choletais have the first glimpses of certain paintings. Arno wishes promote the work behind art because nothing is easy, inspiration, technique, do not fall from the sky. To prepare the works it takes time, money and perseverance, patience. Obtaining a prize allows you to open certain doors, but you still have to win it! .

A 10 year old artist

All the works have a story and that is why the artists are present every day of the exhibition in order to provide precise and reasoned insight to the spectators who cross the threshold of the door. We find Rackdamn_art (3e Pastel Drawing Prize 2024 in Ballon) and his very attractive paintings, the eye has difficulty moving on to something else after being caught up in his world. Then Nathalie Pouillaut (Prix Cholet Évènements 2019) offers canvases where castles are very present, she works with mounted paper and acrylic paint. Finally, the gaze crosses the room and discovers a universe that we imagine young and fiery, Mélody is certainly the artist to follow since at only 10 years old she already has everything of a great and won the Espoir Prize in the drawing competition on pattern at the last Cholet arts fair! Throughout the exhibition, the time spent wandering around the workshop and discussing with the artists allows you to fully understand what was wanted to be transmitted.

Exhibition open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., every day until May 7, 2024. Next artistic event with the second “Rendez-vous des artistes” at Parc de Moine on May 11 and 12, 2024.
