Owner since 2016, the American businessman assured that a sale of the club was absolutely not on the cards. He plans to stay there for a while longer and is even considering buying another club.
McCourt wants to buy a satellite club

The training center needs investment, we are considering all possibilities, in particular a satellite club, which would contribute to the development of our future talents, to keep them and see them flourish “, said Frank McCourt. This Friday, Provence says a little more about this project, which could materialize through the purchase of another club, or a simple partnership.
OM wants to promote the development of its young people
The objective remains the same: to promote the development of young players trained, or who have arrived in post-training at theOM. The regional daily specifies that this project is not in its final phase, but that Marseille leaders have been thinking about it for several months now and that both options are being studied. This would allow young people to gain professional experience at a higher level than in U19 or National 3, but with less pressure than atOM. Several possibilities are being considered, but this satellite club could be located abroad.
