Olympic flame in Rennes this Saturday June 1: where and what time to see it?

55 days before the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Olympic flame will be in Rennes, Saturday June 1, for its 22nd stage, after leaving Saint-Malo the same morning.

THE start of the relay will be collectivewith Anne-Laure Viard as captain, and will take place in Cesson-Sévigné, at 4:45 p.m., at the whitewater stadium. The scenario provides for a parade in a nine-seater canoe, a guard of honor, then a descent of the rapids in a raft.

She will then travel the Vilaine on a hovercraft, loaned by the Rennes firefighters, and an oar, before being landed on the beaches of Baudwhere entertainment is planned from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

• Between 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m.: Place de la Mairie, rue d’Orléans, place de la République, quai Duguay Trouin, pont de la Mission, quai Saint-Cast, rue de Brest (tour des Horizons).
• Between 6 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.: rue de Brest (between Tour des Horizons and rue Victor Le Gorgeu, rue Victor Le Gorgeu, Robert Poirier stadium.

• Between 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.: avenue du Professor Léon Bernard, avenue Gaston Berger, boulevard Saint-Jean Baptiste de la Salle.
• Between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.: rue Capitaine Palicot, boulevard Marbeuf, rue Louis Guilloux.
• Between 6:45 p.m. and 7 p.m.: rue Louis Guilloux, mail François Mitterrand, place de Bretagne.
• Between 7 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.: Boulevard de la Liberté, Rue d’Isly and Esplanade Charles de Gaulle.
