After four days of laughter and emotion, it was with an exceptional set that the curtain of the 25th Dinard Comedy Festival closed, Tuesday evening, with the ceremony of awarding the “Violet” trophies of this festival [NDLR : nom de l’humoriste, Laurent Violet disparu en 2015].

In a packed room at the Palais des arts, the jury, chaired this year by director Mohamed Hamidi, highlighted the comedian “Cab Cab” with his show “Spatule” which won the “Violet d’or” .

Originally from Plouescat (29), the young artist intelligently juggles between crazy life stories, human behavior and societal observations, in a madness full of sincerity. A colorful phenomenon!

Money for Julie Bigot

The silver violet goes to Julie Bigot. Cheeky, like the name of her show, goofy, endearing, lit, overexcited, idealistic, feminist, uninhibited, obstinate: the energetic Julie Bigot also brings people together! Godmother of the festival, the actress Valérie Mairesse, also presented the audience prize to Victoria Pianasso and her first show “Reste simple”. An American-style show with a fair budget.

Why make it complicated when it can be simple ! Between standup, characters, and song parodies, Victoria offers us a clever mix of sarcasm and the absurd. His reflections, against a backdrop of feminism and essential hits, clearly appealed to the Dinard public. Finally, the jury decided to award a “Violet for best host of the festival” to the actor, Emmanuel Gasne, master of ceremonies for eight years. Patrick Chevalier
