The exceptional jackpot of 166 million euros put into play by the Euromillions was won this Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in France, announces Française des Jeux (FDJ). To pocket this (very) big win, the player checked the five correct numbers (13-22-24-33-47) and the two stars (5-1). The big winner now has 60 days to make themselves known to the FDJ. Besides this winner, eight European players – including one in France – had the five correct numbers, but only one star checked. They each pocket the sum of 114,649 euros.
13 other grids, including three registered in France, bring in 16,489 euros each thanks to the five correct numbers, but without a winning star.
This Tuesday’s big win is not the highest jackpot won with EuroMillions. In 2022, a lucky person took 230 million euros to England. This record has not yet been broken.
Nine countries participate in the Euromillions. France is one of the three countries which most often win the prize pool behind the United Kingdom and ahead of Spain.
