The death of his friend, Vicky Krieps had already mentioned it during an interview given to Parisianin November 2022. Still deeply affected, the actress remembered her moments of sharing with the actor during the filming of the film More than ever. “Gaspard was, like me, crazy about nature, we took very long walks together during this quarantine”, she remembered, moved. “We went on and on, he said to me, after the mountain, ‘Come on, let’s go kayaking’. He was so alive. We were in nature every day, having adventures”she added, before concluding: “We were a bit like soul mates, we didn’t fit into prefabricated boxes, we were beyond them. We had a more complex way of seeing life. We can’t always explain things, but we can live them.”
