Mylène Farmer closes her tour on stage in Paris on Friday September 27, Saturday September 28 and Tuesday October 1, one year after the postponement of her concerts.
After more than a year of waiting, the time has come. Initially scheduled for June 30 and July 1, 2023, Mylène Farmer’s concerts at the Stade de France will be held this September 27, 28 and October 1 to close her “Nevermore” tour.
For several days, some of the 240,000 expected spectators have pitched their tents near the building, hoping not only to hear the rehearsals, but also to see their idol from the front rows.
Canceled due to riots following the death of Nahel, a teenager killed by a police officer in Nanterre after refusing to comply, the performances close the largest stadium tour ever carried out by a French artist. “Nevermore” was organized after the release of his twelfth album, “L’Emprise”, released on November 25, 2022.
First tour entirely in stadiums since 2013
To celebrate the end of this tour, a live album was released this Friday, bringing together all of his greatest hits, like “Sans counterfaçon”, “XXL”, or even “Disenchantée”, as well as his new tracks.
Mylène Farmer’s sixth tour, launched on June 3, 2023 at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille, was Mylène Farmer’s first entirely stadium tour since “Timeless” 2013, her last series of concerts having been a residency at Paris La Défense Arena in 2019.
