An earthquake in eastern Taiwan

The epicenter of the earthquake is located near the east coast of the island, which is confirmed by the USGS, the American geological agency. The magnitude of the earthquake recorded by the latter is, however, slightly less significant (5.7).

Many other earthquakes have been recorded in the same area in recent hours and days. At the beginning of April, an earthquake killed 13 people in Taiwan.
