We talked about it in one of our previous briefs. One goal in the last eleven championship matches is the performance that the MHSC is currently achieving. At a press conference, a journalist specified that only 10 teams share this performance in the Big 5. He then questioned Michel Der Zakarian on the subject who, ultimately, only had eyes for Arnaud Nordin:

We found offensive players who have a good level. Like Arnaud Nordin who is still our very good offensive player. He triggers a lot of dangerous actions for our team, he is capable of scoring and making goals. We had a decent start to the season with the new arrivals, including Mousa Tamari and Akor Adams, but afterwards, Arnaud wasn’t there. This lasted for 6 months. Last year, he was already good when we arrived. When we don’t have Arnaud, the team is less strong and scores fewer goals. When he is there, we perform much better.

Earlier in his pre-match media face-to-face, the Armenian genius also had words about Akor Adams: “ It would make me very happy if Akor Adams scored on Friday. That would be good for him and for us. We haven’t lost confidence in him. He is a player who started a championship last March, we must take that into account. He didn’t have a vacation, he only had one week off during the winter. […] We ask him to fix the axial defense well, to free up spaces and to take some too. He must also be able to hold the balls and I think that currently he is doing it well. He performs well. He just lacks this success to conclude the actions and score the goal which will free him. I have no doubt that he will get there. »
