  • 1:28 a.m.: US destroys four drones over Yemen

US forces managed to “destroy four drones” which “posed an imminent threat to US ships, coalition ships and merchant ships in the region” (over areas of Yemen controlled by Houthi rebels), said the US Middle East Military Command (Centcom), in a statement shared on X, formerly Twitter.

A coalition ship also managed to intercept on the same day an anti-ship missile launched from areas controlled by Yemeni rebels and towards the Gulf of Aden, according to the same Source. This missile “probably targeted the MV Yorktown”, a container ship “flying the American flag and owned and operated by Americans”, Centcom said. “No injuries or damage were reported by U.S., coalition or commercial vessels.”

  • 12:55 a.m.: new strikes on Rafah

The Israeli army carried out new deadly strikes on Wednesday in the Gaza Strip, particularly in the Rafah sector.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has assured for weeks that this city, located at the southern end of Palestinian territory, is the last stronghold of Hamas.
