Air Canada has been on the lips of all travelers in recent days, with the threat of a strike looming on the horizon The worst was finally avoided since the company and its pilots reached a provisional agreement this Sunday.
Many travellers, however, had already changed their plans in anticipation of the disruption and/or experienced a fair amount of stress.

To “show its appreciation for their patience and flexibility,” Air Canada is announcing a promotion this morning: it is offering 25% off new bookings with a bonus of 2,500 additional Aeroplan points.
The offer is valid for travel between September 28, 2024 and May 31, 2025. It is already live, but will only be available until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
The discount is valid for all destinations, on certain basic fares.

The airline also announced that it will be present at certain airports across Canada to distribute Aeroplan points to travellers, lounge vouchers, snacks and gifts.
