A 60-year-old man was injured in a work accident on the Forvia company site in Caligny (Orne), this Tuesday April 16, 2024.
Alerted shortly after 3 p.m., firefighters went to the scene to rescue the victim. “Seriously injured”, according to the latter, the man was airlifted to the Caen hospital center (Calvados).
Employees shocked
Philippe Dotte, member of the CSE, says more about the circumstances of the accident: “He was dismantling a security IPN (a large metal bar, Editor’s note) outside when this happened. »
A psychological listening unit should be quickly set up to support employees shocked by the accident.
