Since the German far right succeeded in imposing Foreigners out, xenophobic resumption of love always by Gigi D’Agostino (“foreigners out, Germany for the Germans”)the French fachosphere was clearly looking for an anthem. After several attempts, one song stood out. Entitled I won’t leavein reference to videos of television reports showing exiles shouting this phrase before being expelled from France, the song went around the Web, propelled by TikTok and by sharing accounts linked to the far right.

Now his xenophobic words have reached the forefront of the political scene since Eric Zemmour, former journalist of the Figaro and ex-presidential candidate for his far-right Reconquest party, shared a clip where he appears tapping the rhythm on his table at the restaurant, looking hilarious while listening to the lyrics of the song: “I won’t leave / Yes, if you will leave / And sooner than you think / We’ve already given you enough / Now you can leave / Good riddance and don’t come back.” In the long version, the lyrics continue: “When Bardella passes, you will return home / You will put on your djellaba, you will be able to pray all day / Then you are starting to annoy us / […] You will leave with your Fatma /For you, no more RSA /The boat does not wait /Believe me, you will leave.”

A complaint for “incitement to hatred”

Another media figure who joined the ranks of the far right, Mila, who was the subject of death threats in 2020 when she was a teenager after insulting Islam in reaction to lesbophobic comments, announced that she will release her own version of the song, where her voice will replace that of the AI that we hear on the original track.

After the song was broadcast, the SOS Racisme association announced that it had filed a complaint “incitement to hatred.” She hopes for the immediate withdrawal of these “unacceptable comments” of all digital platforms and expects “exemplary sanctions”.

The original version of this racist “summer hit” was initially posted on June 21 on the TikTok platform by the account @claudiamariani2a. Less than a week after it was posted online, it was deleted from the platform, but the original version as well as several remixes are still available on YouTube, TikTok or Instagram.

Under the guise of humor, this account, active since August 2023, publishes videos combining images and songs produced by artificial intelligence. The contents of @claudiamariani2a, who never shows his face and who often highlights his Corsican origins, are mainly insulting caricatures of opponents of the National Rally.

Other pieces calling for votes Jordan Bardella

In the presidential majority, Emmanuel Macron and Gabriel Attal are often presented in an effeminate manner, while Brigitte Macron appears with a bodybuilder’s body. Left-wing political figures, particularly from La France Insoumise, are presented as Islamists, wearing an almost full veil or sporting full beards. Female politicians Mathilde Panot, Raquel Garrido and Sandrine Rousseau are the target of sexist attacks and described as “turkeys”. But the account’s main target is foreigners and Muslims, often reduced to women in burqas and bearded men, who are afraid of pigs.

While in its beginnings, the account was content to reproduce videos unearthed on the Web, the democratization of tools for generating images and then music by artificial intelligence allowed @claudiamariani2a to produce numerous titles under the name “Grazy Girl” artist. Before the success of I won’t leave, she had published other pieces calling for Jordan Bardella to vote or celebrating his victory in the European elections.

In December, the user posted a first «remix de I won’t leave par Grazy Girl». Less well worked than its final version, it simply superimposed the audio tracks of deported people that we hear in reports with the music of Born to Be Alive.
