Shared by far-right Tiktok accounts, the song has now disappeared from Tiktok, at least in two of the most relayed versions.

After the massive diffusion of a piece called I won’t leave, with openly racist lyrics, Tiktok took action. The platform – which had indicated on June 26 to submit the case to its moderation teams – finally deleted the two most widely relayed versions of the song, as Tech&Co observed. Questioned on the subject, Tiktok confirms its desire to remove the piece from the social network.

As a reminder, on Tiktok, each user can broadcast a sound file, which can then be automatically added by other users in their videos. Which allows certain pieces to quickly go viral. Each time, a page displays all the videos that have shared the same song.

Two versions deleted

In the case of I won’t leave, a first version, shared by a far-right account followed by 16,000 people, was integrated into more than 500 videos. It was deleted on the evening of June 26. Consequence: all videos using the song immediately became silent, while a message displayed that the sound was “unavailable”.

A second version, used in around a hundred other videos, was deleted on June 27, shortly before midday. In total, the videos using the two versions of the song had several hundred thousand views.

A deletion which does not prevent users from uploading new videos accompanied by the song, by importing it again, manually.

The song has explicit lyrics to say the least (“You will leave with your Fatma, for you the RSA is over. The boat won’t wait. […] When Bardella passes, you will return home, you will put on your djellaba, you will be able to pray all day”) was also widely distributed on Twitter, where it has millions of views.

This evening of June 26, the Reconquest candidate in the legislative elections, Eric Zemmour, shared the piece on his account.

Although it directly refers to Jordan Bardella, there is nothing to confirm that the National Rally played any role in the creation and dissemination of this piece, generated by artificial intelligence.

Contacted by Tech&Co about the broadcast of the song on Twitter, the platform has not yet responded.
