In the opening match of Al Nassr’s 2025 campaign, during the 14th round of the Saudi Pro League, the Portuguese star was crucial in lifting his team early on. The opponent, Al-Okhdood, took the lead in the 6th minute. The equalizer came courtesy of Sadio Mané, and before the halftime whistle, Cristiano Ronaldo netted to secure the turnaround.
In the 41st minute, the ‘Commander’ took responsibility for a penalty kick for Al Nassr. From the spot, Cristiano calmly slotted it in with his right foot, marking his first goal of the year.
This goal brings ‘CR7’ to eleven goals in the Saudi Pro League, surpassing Karim Benzema in the scoring charts and leaving him just one goal shy of tying the Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic for the top spot.
