Real Madrid’s latest debutant very well-liked by the club coaching staff

Diego Aguado was one of the notable inclusions in the Real Madrid starting lineup for the upcoming Copa Del Rey clash against Deportiva Minera.

The 17-year-old prodigy is all set to make his debut for the Spanish and European champions and his inclusion in the team highlights the faith put in by the management.

Aguado: A liked figure at Real Madrid

A recent report from Jorge C Picon (h/t Madrid Xtra) has highlighted the intricacies of Real Madrid’s defensive unit right now.

The report notably claims that Aguado is an extremely liked figure among the Real Madrid coaching staff, thanks to his impressive performances at the youth level.

Known for his speed, power, and exceptional left foot, Aguado has made a significant impression during his training sessions with the first team as well.

Despite his young age, his performances have not gone unnoticed by the likes of Carlo Ancelotti and his assistants, who have seen him as a potential solution to the team’s defensive shortages.

Real Madrid to take it slow

Real Madrid, though, are not rushing into things. Although the club rate the player extremely highly, they will be slow with his integration with the first-team.

This goes in line with how Real Madrid have approached their homegrown talents, of late. They have taken time with their integration rather than rushing them into regular first-team action.

It must be noted that The Whites already have another talented The Factory defender in their ranks in the form of Raul Asencio while Lorenzo Aguado also makes his debut tonight.

It will, therefore, be interesting to see whether or not Aguado can provide Asencio with a run for his money, as these two talented defensive prodigies for their place in the Real Madri setup.
