Sofía Vergara might’ve lost her Golden Globes category to True Detective: Night Country star Jodie Foster, but she still gave an epic performance in the moment.

As Foster made her way to the stage to accept the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television — for which Vergara was also nominated for her role in Griselda — Vergara hilariously shouted, “No! No!” from the audience.

“I know, I know!” Foster said, playing along with Vergara’s bit and motioning toward her as she began her speech.

Vergara again shouted, “Give me one!” as the audience laughed at the quip.

The camera then cut to Vergara, who smiled while watching Foster accept her statuette.

Vergara’s joking plea comes after she scored four prior Golden Globe nominations for her performance on Modern Family. Her nod for Griselda marked her fifth career nomination, though she lost all five times.

When Foster finished her speech, she left the stage as the camera again focused on Vergara, who feigned further frustration over her Golden Globes loss.

While the Modern Family actress still had her moment during the segment, the Globes also gave Ariana DeBose a separate highlight of a different kind, when the presenter took to the stage to introduce a different category, only to be met with the wrong text on the teleprompter, meant for host Nikki Glaser to read later in the show.
