Laurent Guyot (Annecy coach): « At 85e minute, I looked at the scoreboard and I said to myself that if we took a point, it wouldn't have been a stolen point either but a good point. We got the credit at 1-1 for having kept cohesion, for continuing to try to score. It's the difference between a team that is successful and another that is less successful, but there is little difference between the two. We are obviously satisfied, we continue on our merry way and we create a big gap with the bottom of the table. »
Mathieu Chabert (Ajaccio coach) : “We eat our black bread. We created a lot of chances, it hurts. You have to clear your head and start again. The best example is Annecy which was very late last season. We need to bring even more determination and things will eventually work out. There is hope but only the points count. You have to hang on because these are very, very hard times. »
Ahmed Kashi (Captain of Annecy): “It’s a great satisfaction, we’re starting the year off well. It looked more like a draw but we managed to win that match. It will do us good to move on to the second part of the season. It was a recovery match, we must not forget that, and it will allow us to regain confidence. It's important. We had to get back into rhythm and the victory will do us good. It's a good sign to win these kinds of matches but everything hasn't been perfect, we still have to work, there are things that haven't been good. We will remain humble. We will continue to work to prepare for the next match. We will continue to move forward as the coach asks, we will follow the captain of the boat, it’s him. »
