Pascal Praud sad at the departure of his CNEWS colleague
For his last day on air, the host toured the CNEWS shows, in which he was invited this Thursday, January 2 for his farewell. In the morning, Pascal Praud received him in L'heure des pros, and expressed his disappointment at seeing him pack his bags and implored him in a humorous tone: “I'm a bit in Mr. Seguin's position, and you may be the goat! But why? Are you sure you want to leave? Are you not comfortable here? (…) The goat gets eaten in the end! Why do you want to leave?“. Amused, Florian Tardif justified himself by explaining that he was joining the political service of Paris Match : “No, but I'm young (…) and I think that at my age, you have to put yourself in danger a little. It's finally easy to make TV, contrary to what people tell us! It's by putting yourself in danger that you can become better“.

Later, at the end of the afternoon, it was Laurence Ferrari (herself former editor-in-chief in the political department of Paris Match from 2022 to 2024, editor's note) which welcomed Florian Tardif in his daily program Punchline to pay tribute to him. “You are part of the CNEWS family. I saw you arrive very small, almost in short pants. (…) We wish him good luck. We are very happy that he is joining this beautiful house. When I saw it coming, I think you were reading Stendhal. And I said to myself: if the little pigs don't eat this one, it's going to go far. Good luck to you, thank you for your talent and for your smile! It was a pleasure working with you all these years“, she confided to her departing colleague.
