The office explained that these companies are distributed between legal persons (6842) and private individuals (2279), noting that the city of Rabat received the lion’s share with 2847 new companies, followed by Kenitra (2131), Temara (1822), Salé (1078), and Tiflet (286). ), Sidi Kacem (250), Khemisset (200), Souq Wednesday Gharb (174), and Belkasiri Mashre’a. The commercial sector dominated with a share of 32.59 percent of the total established companies, followed by the services sector (20.64 percent), construction works and real estate activities (20.44 percent), transportation (7.95 percent), and hotels and restaurants (5, 81 percent), industry (5.28 percent), information and communication technology sector (3.32 percent), agriculture and fishing (2 percent), and financial activities (1.97 percent).
According to the legal form, 65.8 percent of the established companies are limited liability companies with a single partner, followed by limited liability companies at 33.5 percent.
At the national level, the number of companies created during the first ten months of the year 2024 reached 78,244 companies, distributed between legal persons (56,292) and private individuals (21,952).
The Casablanca-Settat region comes in the lead with a total of 24,571 companies created until the end of October 2024, followed by the regions of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (11,328), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (9,121), and Marrakesh-Safi (8,875). ), Fez-Meknes (5409), and Souss-Massa (5323), facing east (4588), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (3083), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (2238), Draa-Tafilalet (1766), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (1308), and Guelmim-Oued Noun (634).
