Charles is one of the students of the 2024 edition of the Star Academy. Originally from Brittany, he radically changed his life to give himself a chance to live his dream: to become a singer. Gifted with innate vocal talent, he was often complimented by his teachers. But this talent also made his teachers very demanding of him. The young man, who stagnated at the start of his adventure, had to pick himself up to unleash his full potential. And it worked! Charles progressed week by week. This is evidenced by Nolwenn Leroy’s joy at being able to share a duet with him, Saturday December 21, 2024, on the Star Academy prime set. “I’m very happy to sing with him. The rehearsals went really well. I’m not very surprised because with Charles anyway, it’s a highway, I mean: it tracks. It’s a super vocalist, he’s someone who is very fair in his voice and in his emotion”, she confided on Friday December 20, 2024, in a story, on the show’s Instagram account.
Unfortunately, Marlène Schaff, stage expression teacher, was not convinced by this performance: “I looked at you and at the beginning of the piece, I said to myself: ‘He’s embarrassed’. Every time you sang at Nolwenn, your eyes were closed […] That you’re embarrassed, I understand.
