It starts on January 2nd Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia. The 2025 edition will be held once again in Riyadh, thanks also to the economic opportunity given by the maxi-agreement, among the richest in the category. THE awardboth monetary and non-monetary, are in fact record-breaking. Furthermore all the teams of the Serie A who participate, even if eliminated in the semi-finals, will earn 1.6 million euros. But how much are the other positions worth and who could secure victory?
How much does Serie A earn?
The Italian Super Cup will be played in Saudi Arabia between January 2nd and 6th. Three matches are scheduled to be played, two semi-finals and the final. Official regulations and calendars have recently been published, which also include information regarding the prize money.
The agreement with Saudi Arabia foresees, for the 2025 edition, approximately 23 million euros. Of these, approximately 16.2 million will end up at participating clubs. The sum was divided into:
- 1.6 million to the defeated semi-finalist teams
- 5 million to the defeated finalist team
- 8 million to the winning team
In short, even if Serie A clubs don’t get rich by participating in the Super Cup, the teams will be able to set aside a considerable sum. It is no coincidence that Italy has grabbed thericher agreementwith all the other leagues nowhere near the figure.

In particular, theEngland for this year it has decided that the entire proceeds will be redistributed in equal parts to all 124 clubs associated with the FA that participated in even just one round of the FA Cup the previous season. This money, however, will not go to the various clubs, but to one charity chosen, to which to allocate the funds.
The prizes awarded: not just money
Winning the Super Cup, however, does not just mean grabbing the highest prize money. In fact, other awards are expected. In fact, whoever wins will take home the trophy EA SPORTS FC Supercup 2023/2024 and, in case, the original “EA SPORTS FC Supercup” cup.
There are also 40 gold medals for the team’s players and coaches, and silver medals for those who come in second place.
When Inter-Atalanta and Juventus-Milan play
In addition to Mediaset which will broadcast the matches, 180 other territories will also be reached and will be able to enjoy the show live.
The Italian Super Cup will be played on the following days and times:
- semi-final A: Inter-Atalanta2 January 2025 at 8.00 pm Italian time;
- semi-final B: Milan-Juventus3 January 2025 at 8.00 pm Italian time;
- final: winner of Semifinal A – winner of Semifinal B, 6 January 2025 at 8.00 pm Italian time.
