Last year, in order to avoid any suspicion of a conflict of interest, Léa Salamé stopped her political broadcasts on France Télé and France Inter during the European election campaign, in which her companion Raphaël Glucksmann participated. In 2007, Béatrice Schönberg, presenter of the 1 p.m. weekend news and wife of politician Jean-Louis Borloo, also took a break during the Presidential election… but never returned to her post after her husband was appointed minister following the election of Nicolas Sarkozy.
