Minister of Culture and Tourism Ersoy shared a post on his social media account for Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away at the age of 79 this evening. Stating that he welcomed Ferdi Tayfur's death with deep sadness, Minister Ersoy said, “Our hearts hurt even more. I learned with deep sadness that Ferdi Tayfur, the owner of immortal works such as 'I Yanar', 'Bana Sor' and 'Your Memory is Enough', has passed away. Our art world lost a very exceptional name today. The great master, who translated the feelings of millions with his works, will now live in our hearts; It will accompany us in our pains and joys. May God have mercy on him, I offer my condolences to his family, loved ones and our entire art community. “May he rest in peace,” he said.
