Paris, France
The “City of Light” lived up to its title with colorful fireworks over the Arc de Triomphe. Hundreds of thousands of residents and guests of the French capital watched the grandiose light and music show on the Champs Elysees.
Paris decided to honorably spend a very important year for the country, which was marked by achievements and successes – the hosting of the Olympic Games, the opening of Notre Dame Cathedral after five years of reconstruction, but also internal political upheavals.
Rome, Italy
Thousands of spectators attended the celebrations held at the Colosseum in the heart of the Italian capital.
The New Year was celebrated there with colorful fireworks. However, to the delight of numerous tourists, festive events that night took place throughout the city, one of the most massive ones was on Janiculum Hill, at the Garibaldi monument.
Berlin, Germany
Thousands of people saluted the New Year 2025 at celebrations organized in the German capital.
The sky above the famous Brandenburg Gate was lit up with New Year's fireworks. To the delight of those present, it turned out to be bright and long.
Athens, Greece
The Greek capital decided to distinguish itself this year. The New Year's performance staged there on the night of January 1 can rightfully be called unique.
A spectacular laser and drone show near the Patheon, on top of the Acropolis, was capped by a “silent” fireworks display. For the first time, the organizers chose special silent pyrotechnics for the celebration.
