This Monday, sixteen vehicle fires and thirty-eight trash fires were declared in the northern districts of . Nearly eleven individuals, perpetrators of damage to public property, were arrested.

A few hours before the new year, episodes of public order disturbances were reported this Monday December 30, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the districts of Neuhof-Meinau, Cronenbourg, Hautepierre and Koenigshoffen à Strasbourg.

According to the police, 16 vehicle fires and 38 trash fires were declared in different northern districts of the Alsatian capital.

Ten individuals in police custody

The police were attacked. Eleven individuals, perpetrators of damage to public property, were arrested and ten of them were placed in police custody. The digital criminal commission (CPN) has been contacted. For New Year's Eve, a reinforced security system was put in place throughout the country, including for the city of Strasbourg.
