Big chaos on the highways in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region this Monday morning. Many taxi drivers are demonstrating by operating blockages and snail operations on highways and main roads.
In Isère, taxis have been blocking the A43 and A7 roads since 5 a.m. on Monday, creating significant disruptions to traffic.
Taxis converge towards Lyon, which makes traffic extremely complicated in the Lyon metropolitan area.
The Chesne toll blocked
More than a hundred taxis have blocked the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier tollbooth on the A43 since 5 a.m. A blockade lifted a few dozen minutes ago. Despite everything, the Isère prefecture invites motorists to take exits 6 and 7.
Traffic conditions are tending to improve, but state services still advise “avoid the Bourgoin-Jallieu sector”.

The services of the Isère prefecture specify that traffic is also difficult on the A7 at Vienna level.

Taxi drivers say blockades could be renewed all this week with the same magnitude.
