The UDI has appointed Christophe Geourjon as leader for the 2026 municipal and metropolitan elections in Lyon.
The deadline is getting closer, and the major maneuvers are beginning. On November 20, the central bloc made up of Renaissance, Horizons, Modem and Radical Party indicated in a press release their desire to present unique candidacies to the City and Metropolis of Lyon for the 2026 elections.

“The reflection of the common base which supports the government of Michel Barnier”
In a press release released Monday, December 2, the UDI indicates that its re-elected federation president, Christophe Geourjon, has been designated “as centrist leader for the metropolitan elections of March 2026, thus marking a key stage in the preparation of this ambitious collective project“.
“The UDI is campaigning for a large gathering which carries an alternative project“, indicates the movement, wishing to focus its program on “a quality of life rediscovered and restored“, “a positive ecological transition“and one”renewed ambition for our territory“.
“This gathering would reflect the common base that supports the government of Michel Barnier“, concludes the UDI.
