Stade Brestois learned about the very high European level against FC Barcelona on Tuesday, as confirmed by goalkeeper Marco Bizot, who does not hide his pride in the face of this enthusiasm from the supporters.
Marco, how do you feel after this match in Barcelona?
It's a double feeling, because we lost the game. But on the other hand, we tried to do something. It was really difficult for us, but I think we showed Barcelona a little too much respect. We were so nice. In the end it was difficult, although I think the 3-0 was a bit harsh. But in any case, it was a great experience for all of us. Especially for players who haven't played much in Europe, with matches of this level and intensity.

“It’s of course a penalty”
You make a small mistake on the exit which costs you the penalty.
Yes, we knew they were going to play small plays, it was my job to intercept, to prevent that. So when the ball arrived, I saw it free, 5-6 meters from me. One thing I had to do was go in there and hope he would touch her once. But Lewandowski controlled him, and there was the impact on him. It's of course a penalty, and it's my fault.
Are you still proud of the way in which you represented Brest today?
Of course, it was a wonderful adventure, we already have a lot of points. Matches like that, against one of the best clubs in the world, a team of such quality, it's a very good experience. And when we see the number of Brestois in the stadium, everywhere in the city, it's fantastic.
Did you hear them from the field?
Yes of course. I think there were around 3,000 people, with beautiful red and white entertainment. It was very nice that everyone was there to support us, to represent us. It's fantastic that so many people support us, even in a more complicated period, thank you again for that.
