the Blues will challenge Croatia in the quarter-finals… before returning to Spain?

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Nations League was made this Friday in Nyon, Switzerland. The team will face Croatia on March 20 and 23.

The French team is determined on its fate. The Blues, first in Group 2 of the Nations League after their victory against Italy (1-3) last Sunday at San Siro, will face Croatia in the quarter-final of the competition. The draw was made this Friday in Nyon, Switzerland, under the eyes of Didier Deschamps and Guy Stéphan, present for the occasion. The first leg will take place on March 20 in Croatia while the return leg is scheduled for the 23rd at the Stade de France.

In the event of victory in the quarter-finals, the Blues will be present at the Final Four of the Nations League scheduled for June. There they would meet the winner of the quarter-final between the Netherlands and Spain. In this case, the world vice-champions would only begin qualifying for the 2026 World Cup in September and in a group of four nations. The road to the United States, Canada and Mexico, organizers of the World Cup, would then be clear.
