Since this morning, Thursday November 21, 2024between 4 to 7 centimeters of snow fell in Seine-et-Marne. While the department remains placed on orange snow and ice vigilance and the snow episode causes disruptions on certain axes of the road network, the situation could deteriorate in the evening.
Speed lowered by 20 km/h throughout Île-de-France
The Seine-et-Marne prefecture therefore imposes traffic restrictions. To ensure the safety of users, maximum permitted speeds have been lowered by 20 km/h in Île-de-Franceuntil weather conditions improve.
State services also remind the ban on overtaking maneuvers for the transport vehicles of goods whose total authorized weight (PTAC) is greater than 7.5 tonnes, the ban on overtaking maneuvers at vehicles carrying of the Hazardous Material (whatever the GVWR).
THE bus lines and the school circuits are also interrupted this evening and for the day tomorrow Friday November 22, 2024.
The situation may be reassessed according to forecast. The prefecture of Seine-et-Marne therefore invites motorists to regularly consult its information networks, as well as Météo France bulletins.
