- Based in the Loiret, and the small village of Givraines, in the Pithiverais, for almost half a century, the much-loved designer Bernadette Després, mother of the famous comic strip characters Tom-Tom and Nana, died at the age 83 years old.
- After the announcement of the death of Bernadette Després, personalities from Loiret and the cultural world reacted, highlighting her contribution to the world of children's literature, her generosity and the links she had forged around Givraines, where she had lived since 1974 .
- In December 2017, Bernadette Després, who died on Tuesday November 19, at the age of 83, recounted, from her workshop in Givraines, the creation of the famous heroes Tom-Tom and Nana to journalists from The Central Republic.
Weather report
The meteorological phenomenon announced for this Thursday, November 21 in the Loiret could be characterized “by snow precipitation which could locally reach between two and five centimeters, or even up to ten” in places, the prefecture announced on Wednesday evening.
