The first flakes are starting to fall in the Paris region this Thursday where up to 7cm of snow is expected, particularly in Essonne. The result of the passage of the Caetano storm for which 58 departments were placed on orange alert by Météo-France for violent winds and snow and ice.

Snow fell in abundance this Thursday morning at the Paris Saint-Germain training center located in Poissy in Yvelines.
Maximum speed lowered by 20km/h since 11am
The Paris police headquarters announces that the maximum authorized speed is lowered by 20 km/h throughout Île-de-France from 11 a.m. due to snowfall and the appearance of ice.
Snow holds in Normandy
Particularly concerned by the orange snow and ice vigilance, Normandy welcomed its first flakes in the early morning.
