The organizers of events for the benefit of firefighter orphans have worked together for 30 years.

Not keen on honors, Max Roustan still agreed to be decorated by the executives of the Departmental Union of Firefighters during the check presentation to the wards.

“We've all been working together for thirty years, notes the always dashing “Bibi”, Lieutenant Guy Bissiere. Max Roustan has always given us a helping hand to enable us to organize events in favor of orphans of the Gard firefighters. Djilali Maouche, the toro pool organizer, and Richard Di Guisto, the kingpin, complete the team. Thirty years of loyalty and friendship is no small thing… We have organized things, whether at the Bruèges halls or the arenas…”

In a select committee, over a drink at the Café des fleurs, Djilali Maouche presented a check for €3,200 to the association. Without further protocol and with complete simplicity, Max Roustan was then decorated with the association's medal for the three decades of collaboration he has with the team.
