Friday November 15 in Here it all begins…
Anaïs suffers from tinnitus
To the roommate in the marshes, Anaïs advises Milan against seeking revenge on Sam. When Enzo and Vic join them, the latter do not fail to notice the blue Anaïs has on her face. She claims to have been attacked by a stranger the day before who wanted to steal her phone. Milan confirms.
But once Anaïs leaves, Vic openly suspects Milan of being the one who hit him. The young man then explains the truth. Not reassured, Vic believes that he is putting Anaïs in danger. Even though Milan says he wants to put his past behind him, Enzo points out that the past unfortunately always has a tendency to catch up with us.
At the Institute, Anaïs goes to the infirmary where she is examined by Constance. When Teyssier arrives, Anaïs also makes him believe that she was attacked by someone who wanted to steal her phone. Teyssier is trying to find out if she is fit to return to the kitchen. Constance points out that symptoms of head trauma can appear later. But Anaïs declares that she feels very well and that she will go to the hospital at the slightest worrying sign.
In the kitchen, as service approaches, the brigade begins to wonder about the absence of Anaïs and Milan. Vic reveals to everyone that their boss was assaulted, blaming Milan for being a bad influence on her. At the same time, Anaïs arrives in the kitchen accompanied by Milan. She puts everyone in their place so they can focus on service.
Later, Anaïs and Milan show Teyssier their new creations. While the latter congratulates them, Anaïs suffers from tinnitus. She nevertheless pretends that everything is fine and arranges to meet her second at the end of the day to continue working.
Back home, Teyssier continues to extend invitations to all his contacts to taste Anaïs' event menu. He is very satisfied with what she has presented to him and is convinced that she is doing well. Only Constance fears that the young woman will neglect her state of health because of the pressure.
In the kitchen, Anaïs meets Milan as planned to think about other ideas for the menu. While she continues to act as if everything is fine, Anaïs suffers from increasingly violent tinnitus. She ends up passing out in Milan's arms, bleeding from her ear…
Coline confesses the truth to her mother
Coline is summoned to Teyssier's office, where Antoine is also present. She justifies her absence the day before by her need to help her mother on the farm. Teyssier nevertheless reminds her of the rules and forbids her from being absent again at the risk of being fired.
Back at the farm, Coline makes her mother believe that her boss has forbidden her from being absent again. Angèle then suggests to her daughter to work with her on the farm, admitting that she will not be able to keep her if business continues to go badly. She therefore insists that Coline spends a few months part-time. The latter promises to talk to her boss about it.
At the Institute, Coline confides in Carla and Bérénice about her situation. If the young girl is ready to stop classes to help her mother, Carla believes that there is no reason for her to sacrifice herself. With Bérénice, she therefore encourages her cousin to tell the truth to her mother.
At the end of the day, Coline meets her mother at the Institute's gates to tell her the truth. Angèle is terribly hurt by her daughter's lie. Even more so because Rose works in the cooking school while she blames him for the death of her brother Raphaël. Coline apologizes, but her mother ends up leaving. Carla then finds her cousin to comfort her, offering to stay with her at her roommate for the evening.
Mark or Paul? Rose makes her choice
In the park, Rose confides to Constance that she is going to have lunch with Paul at Double A. But she thinks more about Marc and wonders why he didn't come see her the day before at the studio.
At the same time, the latter joins them, explaining that he was too late, but that he had time to taste his crumble. He also perfectly remembered that this was the first recipe they cooked together. Marc therefore takes the opportunity to invite Rose to lunch to tell her about his trip. But the latter claims that she already has a lunch planned with Constance.
At lunchtime, Rose meets Paul at Double A. He orders two glasses of champagne as a nod to their first meeting, then admits to her that he hasn't stopped thinking about her since his departure to Costa Rica. He declares that he is ready to settle in Calvières if she wishes to resume their story.
After which, Rose confides in Clotilde about what Paul told her. She is afraid of not making the right decision. But his sister encourages him to trust himself.
Rose finds Paul at Double A to tell him that her feelings have changed. He then suspects her of loving someone else, which Rose confirms. As they hug with emotion to say goodbye, Marc arrives at Double A and surprises them.
