On Wednesday morning in Samnaun, a man attacked and injured a child at a bus stop. The Graubünden cantonal police arrested the man and brought him to the public prosecutor’s office.
According to initial findings, the 52-year-old went to the bus stop near Musella in Samnaun around 7:30 a.m. There he attacked a child with an unknown object and injured his head. He then went back to his house and reported the crime to the operations control center of the Graubünden cantonal police. The seriously injured child was taken to a local doctor’s office by private individuals and received emergency medical care. It was then flown by Rega to the Graubünden Cantonal Hospital in Chur. Graubünden cantonal police forces were able to arrest the alleged perpetrator at 11:30 a.m. without resistance. He was brought to the public prosecutor’s office, which opened proceedings against him. The Grischun Care Team was on hand to look after the people involved.
