Who will win the duel between the undisputed legend Tyson (50-6) and the “enfant terrible” Jake Paul (10-1)?

Boxing legend Mike Tyson will face Jake Paul, the YouTuber turned boxer, this Saturday, November 16. An exhibition fight between the two American heavyweights whose age gap is… 30 years.

“Iron Mike” Tyson, 58, retired professionally in 2005. The former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world then had a monster record of 50-6, including 44 victories by knockout. 15 years later, in 2020, he returned to the ring for a fight against icon Roy Jones, which ended in a draw.

But the “enfant terrible” Jake Paul is clearly not afraid of going up against “Kid Dynamite” (Tyson’s other nickname), he who is now used to completely crazy provocations. The 27-year-old former YouTuber who made his professional debut in 2020 is particularly known for having faced Tommy Fury, brother of Tyson Fury, in 2023. Paul had lost this fight. His boxing record today stands at 10 wins and one loss.

Initially scheduled for July 20, the fight was postponed after Tyson fell ill. Some critics of this duel also mention the advanced age of the former world champion. But the latter does not take this into account and says he is in great shape, chaining together peaks and punchlines towards his opponent.
The clash will finally take place this weekend in a giant event taking place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. With a capacity of up to 105,000 seats for major events, it is the largest indoor stadium in the world.

The fight is scheduled to begin at 5 a.m. PT on Saturday, November 16. It will be broadcast live on Netflix, and will thus be the first live fight ever broadcast on the streaming platform. No additional costs will be charged to Netflix subscribers.

As for the rules, some of them have been changed due to Tyson's age. The confrontation will notably take place over eight rounds lasting a maximum of two minutes instead of three.

Several tens of millions of dollars would be at stake for each of the protagonists. But beyond the winnings, Paul, now known for his crazy bets, proposed an improbable guarantee: Tyson will earn an additional $5 million if he manages to last at least four rounds. If he lost, he should get an “I love Jake Paul” tattoo. Tyson has not announced that he will accept this bet.
