The adventure Love is in the meadow will have left a mixed taste in Flavie. Above all, the show presented by Karine Le Marchand allowed her to meet the man she hopes to spend the rest of her days with : Valentin, the youngest farmer of the season. Between them, the chemistry was obvious and it didn't take long before the two lovebirds, determined to go a long way together, ended up kissing. But as if the story was too good, the 21-year-old young woman learned terrible news during filming: she has a rare skin cancer.
“I had surgery at the beginning of February for a tumor that was supposed to be benign. Right here, at the shoulder. And they called me back almost two months after the week on the farm. The doctor told me the tests weren't good. Ultimately, it's not benign, it's malignant. Obviously, tears came because I was far from imagining all that”confided Flavie, who still seems to be in a relationship with Valentin to this day, to Karine Le Marchand.

Although the fight is difficult to fight, especially at such a young ageFlavie does not intend to let herself be defeated. On the contrary, she hopes to give strength to all those who, like her, must fight against cancer. Thus, she hides nothing from her subscribers regarding her path to recovery. On the evening of Monday, November 11, she notably revealed a series of photos where we can see her at different stages of the process. In one of the photographs, she shows her heavy hair loss at the top of her head, before revealing herself completely shaved.
In the video following these photos, Flavie also reveals the moment when she ran the clippers over her hair. This is obviously a big change for the candidate of Love is in the meadowwho does not lose his good humor. There is no question for the one who was a candidate in a Miss competition to lament: while she is having her hair shaved, she displays a radiant smile and talks about the rain and the good weather, as if nothing had happened.
