This Friday, November 8, TF1 broadcast the fifth bonus of “Star Academy 2024”, a significant meeting for the students still in competition at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys. Each of them put all their energy into defending their place. Among the notable performances, that of Julie touched the audience with her sensitive interpretation of “The Singer” by Daniel Balavoine, thus demonstrating all her vocal mastery.

Other highlights also marked the evening. Ebony and Marine performed “Louxor, j’adore” alongside Philippe Katerine, in a colorful performance, as usual. Lucky Love shared the stage with Marguerite on the title “Masculinity”, in a sublime scene accompanied by dancers. Vitaa, the show's iconic godmother in previous seasons, joined Emma for an energetic medley, adding a touch of nostalgia and passion to the prime.
A moving moment
A particularly moving sequence caught the public's attention during a tribute to Françoise Hardy. Ebony, Marguerite, and Franck, the best students of the week who were fighting for immunity, delivered an intense version of “Personal Message”, accompanied by Thomas Dutronc, son of the late singer who died last June. Deeply touched by the presence of a photo of his mother in the background, Thomas Dutronc could not hold back his tears live. Nikos Aliagas, sensitive to his emotion, took care to ask him how he felt while giving him the option of not responding. “Joker,” he first whispered before finally confiding: “It was moving. They sang with all their hearts, they were very in tune. And this photo of mom… obviously, it was moving.” A strong moment of authenticity which left its mark on the public and viewers.
