After the attack on Israeli supporters in Amsterdam, on the sidelines of a Europa League match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv, Emmanuel Macron condemned this violence which recalls, he said, “the most outrageous hours of the 'History”.
Emmanuel Macron “strongly condemned” on Friday the “violence against Israeli citizens in Amsterdam” which, according to him, recall “the most shameful hours in history”. “I send my support to the injured. France will continue to fight against odious anti-Semitism without respite,” reacted the French president on X. Five people were hospitalized and 62 arrested during the clashes in Amsterdam which followed a football Thursday evening between Ajax and Maccabi Tel-Aviv, denounced by the Netherlands as “unacceptable anti-Semitic attacks”.
