Spontaneous TEC strike in the Liège region: the network is disrupted

A spontaneous strike movement is underway at the Robermont depot, the TEC reported on Tuesday on its website. The transport company specifies that an “alternative to the bus is strongly recommended for traveling this afternoon (Tuesday), in the Liège region”.

The crux of the problem would concern “technical problems observed in the reporting of real-time alerts from buses to dispatching”, underlines the company.

Several lines are currently disrupted and significant delays are to be feared, insists the TEC, listing around fifty lines (which can be consulted on the letec.be website).

“Despite reassuring discussions on taking into account technical problems and the establishment of a special call number to take the time to deepen the analysis and resolution, the movement continues, without confirmation of normalization at this stage “, adds the TEC. “Management strongly regrets the unannounced form of this movement, penalizing customers, and apologizes for the inconvenience caused.”
