Sarafina Wollny had planned to stay in Germany. She is now applying for a residence permit in Turkey. Are the Wollnys about to move?
“The Wollnys” had long dreamed of emigrating to Turkey. Even before the family finalized their plans by buying a house at the beginning of 2023, the RTLZWEI clan had regularly traveled to Turkey to vacation there. In the most recent season of the TV show, Silvia Wollny and Harald even visited a kindergarten in Turkey where they wanted to send Cataleya, Calantha’s daughter. Now daughter Sarafina is also giving updates on her stay in Turkey with the children.

Sarafina Wollny recently revealed on Instagram that they are not settling down in the holiday resort of Ilica for the time being. Her children “will be going to kindergarten here in Germany from August,” replied the 28-year-old when asked where her twins would be looked after in the future. But is there a change of heart now?
In the past, Sarafina had emphasized several times, especially with regard to Emory and Casey, that the duo was doing better mentally and health-wise in Turkey than in Germany. Now she also lets her fans from her Turkish vacation know: “I already had an appointment this morning about the residence permit for the children.” So are “the Wollnys” planning to stay in Ilica permanently?

According to the Foreign Office, such residence permits must be applied for if foreigners who have come to Turkey on a visa or a visa exemption stay for longer than 30, 60 or 90 days without interruption.
Although Sarafina’s application is probably not an indication of a complete move to Turkey, it is at least progress in terms of everyday planning in the south. After all, the “Wollnys” house doesn’t just belong to the head of the family, Silvia – Sarafina and Peter are also owners. (sik)
