The shooting broke out in the evening, between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., said our colleagues from France Bleu Poitou. Five people were injured, according to the prefecture.
According to the Vienne prefecture, “tensions” broke out in the evening “between different groups”. They required “the intervention of the police and the gendarmerie”, continues the prefecture, without giving further details.
The prefect of Vienne, Jean-Marie Girier, immediately went to the site, adds the State service in his message, which specifies that police reinforcements will be deployed in the Couronneries district, this Friday, November 1 .
