Julie Dupont, 26-year-old journalist, wins the Miss Île-de- 2024 sash and prepares for Miss France 2025.

Julie Dupont was elected Miss Île-de-France 2024 on Saturday October 12 in Dammarie-lès-Lys. Aged 26 and measuring 1.76 m, this journalist and camera editor at Webedia will represent her region during the election of Miss France 2025 at Futuroscope in on December 14.

Originally from in Hauts-de-Seine, Julie Dupont studied journalism in the United States before obtaining a master’s degree in France. She describes herself as altruistic and honest, and says she doesn’t keep her tongue in her pocket.

Julie Dupont wishes to highlight diversity in the media through her participation. She proudly displays her afro, explaining that she wants to represent women who are not very visible in this type of competition. “I haven’t always been very comfortable with my afro and it’s certain that little Julie, full of complexes, would have loved to see a woman who looks like her in this environment,” she confides.
