Paraplegic, this 34-year-old Parisian is embarking on a new adventure this Monday, October 14, 2024, in Morocco, in the stifling heat of the Sahara Desert. He is participating in the first edition of the Handi marathon des sables, a 60 km running race over three days, in food self-sufficiency, accompanied by his wife Myriam, and her sister, Sylvie. An extraordinary adventure now accessible to people with reduced mobility, and which this disabled-abled couple is at the origin of.

For five years, Myriam and Pierre Cabon’s life has been made up of traveling all over the world. They take on the challenges at breakneck speed, doubling down on tricks to overcome physical obstacles and overcome the psychological limits linked to the wheelchair, which burst into their daily lives after the Bataclan attack.
