A historic union
The Panajou house, founded in 1865 in Bordeauxand Circus, created in 1949 in Parisjoined forces in 2023, marking a unique synergy in the French photographic landscape. Together, these two institutions have more than 230 ans d’expertiseoffering amateur and professional photographers alike a unparalleled experience.
In June 2024, Panajou inaugurated its new store at 32 Allées de Tourny in Bordeaux, real House of Photography. This emblematic place combines tradition et modernity by offering a wide range of photo and video equipment, an exhibition space, a floor dedicated to film, as well as a professional studio of 120 m². The Panajou website has been revamped for a better user experience.
Cirque, for its part, located at 9 boulevard des Filles du Calvaire in Paris, brings its Parisian market expertise and his long experience of Photo Fair.
A first at the Salon de la Photo
For the very first time, Panajou and Cirque will share a common stand (A002) at the Salon de la Photo, offering the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in cameras, lenses and photo and video accessories. The Panajou and Cirque teams will welcome you with a selection of products available for sale, accompanied byspecial offers.
The stand will also offer a trade-in of used photo equipmentallowing visitors to swap their old equipment for newer equipment or adapted to their needs. you can either buy on site or choose to have it delivered to your home depending on your preferences.
Focus on film
Throughout the show, a special film operation is planned: any person who brings a roll of film (135 color or black and white) to the stand Panajou will benefit for free of development and scanning of its film, to be collected in store at Circus Paris (limited to two rolls of film per person).
Meetings with renowned photographers
Don’t miss the interventions by distinguished photographers on the Panajou-Cirque stand, in a space dedicated to exchange. You will be able to attend presentations of Pascal Maitre, Ben Thouard, Gilles Vidal, Kanan brought, Yohan Terazzaas well as Béatrice and Jérémie from Quirky. These meetings will be an opportunity to discuss photographic techniques and receive practical advice from these experts.
