Collaboration Interreligieuse
The initiative, led by Henri Eyebe Ayissi, Minister of Land, Cadastre and Land Affairs, is carried out in collaboration with several Christian and Muslim associations. This reflects an ecumenical effort to bring together citizens of all faiths to pray together.
Objectives of the Ceremony
This thanksgiving aims to honor the Head of State for his service to the country and call for peace and harmony in Cameroon, in a context where the country faces various challenges.

Cameroonians from all backgrounds are strongly invited to participate in this celebration. The interfaith nature of the event aims to promote unity and solidarity among different communities in the country.
Reflection on the Initiative
Although the initiative aims to bring together and pray for peace, it remains to be seen how it will be perceived in Cameroon’s current socio-political context. Citizen participation and engagement will be key elements for the success of this event.
