This week dedicated to responsible fashion opened with the Défilé des Autres Modes at the Palais Galliera in Paris.
After the effervescent Paris Fashion Week, this 2nd edition of the Défilé des Autres Modes was held on Sunday October 6 at the Palais Galliera in Paris – the emblematic fashion museum located in the 16th arrondissement of the capital – under the artistic direction by Léa Lefouët and Paul Cadre and with the support of the City of Paris.
Celebrate fashion differently
The ambition of this very creative event is to reinvent our way of thinking and consuming fashion, in order to promote more responsible fashion. Thus, young emerging designers and more established brands presented their responsible creations during Other Fashion Week.
Among the participating labels we find the Valentine Gauthier brand which presents its universe with a gender-neutral line, the ethical fashion label SKFK, the brand with a humanist philosophy EKJO, Kai Paris and its collection of clothing made in the capital, Lo Neel and its co-responsible and vegan fashion.
As well as the upcycling enthusiast label Chaussettes Orphelines, Jordane Somville and her daring jewelry, the activewear brand Dance Fiber, the eyewear brand Baars, the leather goods house Baltus and the Parisian association Mode & Handicap.
